12 tons per day industrial waste plastic to oil pyrolysis plant in India.

This plant was commissioned in September 2015. The machinery was manufactured in workshops of Agile Process in Navi Mumbai in 4 months. Plant was installed in 1 month and commissioned 1 month. The total project implementation time was less than 6 months.

Plant operates on fully automated PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) & SCADA (Supervisory control and data acquisition) computerised system.

The feedstock used in the plant is industrial plastic waste generated by paper recycling mill nearby. The paper recycling mill when recycles 300MT of paper per day, generates about 10 to 15MT of waste plastic which is laminations used on the paper. Paper gets recycles and plastic laminations separated from paper are disposed in this plastic to oil plant. The paper recycling mill pays Indian rupees 3000 (approx USD 50) per MT for disposal of this industrial waste plastic.

Despite high moisture content of 15% & high ash content of 20% in raw material the plant produces minimum of 50% oil from 12 MT per day of waste plastic. Oil produced is used in nearby aluminum melting furnace.

Plastic to oil pyrolysis plant of 12 (TPD): 2016 – Kenya

This project was commissioned in May 2016. The machiney wan manufactured at Agile Process’ Navi Mumbai workshops in less than 3 months. Machinery was installed at Kenya in less than 1 month and commissioned in 1 month. Thus, the total project was completed in less than 5 months.

The plant uses municipal solid waste segregated post-consumer waste plastic (consisting mostly of shredded plastic containers carry bags and packaging waste) as feedstock.

The oil produced in used in the steam boiler in the process industry nearby. Despite of up-to 10% moisture in feedstock and up-to 25% on soil and dirt in raw material, the plant produces 55% of oil (7000lit per day) from 12 MT of post-consumer plastic waste per day.

Plastic to oil to electricity pyrolysis plant of 12 (TPD): 2014 – Europe

Commissioned in April 2014 is 12 TPD project in Europe. The plant and machinery was manufactured at Agile Process’ Navi Mumbai workshops in less than 4 months, installed at site in 25 days and the plant was commissioned in less than 15 days.

The feedstock used in this pant is mixed plastic scrap segregated from municipal solid waste and sourced from a local scrap dealer.

Plant produces about 7500 to 9500 lit of pyrolysis oil per day from 12MT of plastic waste. Thus the oil yield varies between 62.5% to 80% depending on the polymer content in the feedstock.

Plant operates on fully automated PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) & SCADA (Supervisory control and data acquisition) computerised system.

The oil produced in the plant is fired in the 1mw/hr electricity generator. The generator consumes 7350lit of pyrolysis oil per day.
