What is the distillation process? And what is the use in Pyrolysis Plant?
Distillation is a method of separating mixtures based on differences in volatilities of components in a boiling liquid mixture. Distillation is a unit operation, or a physical separation process, and not a chemical reaction. Pyrolysis Oil (PO) is the mixture of Diesel + Kerosene + Petrol like fractions approximately: 30 to 35% of each. Diesel, petrol and Kerosene like fraction cane be separated by using fractional distillation.
